I’ve learned many things here that I hadn’t learned before. It’s not just about learning in a classroom environment; there’s also a lot of on-site filming, and I’ve gained a great deal of hands-on experience.
Studying here is really enjoyable, with plenty of activities that allow us to experience a wide variety of things.

I’ve learned a lot of filming techniques and editing logic at the school. My favorite place is the studio—it really helps us get more familiar with using the equipment.
Just starting my third semester here, I already have a clear goal in mind. The teachers here are straightforward in their teaching, allowing me to understand what professionals in the industry actually do and what makes a truly valuable piece of work. I’ve loved photography and editing since high school and never enjoyed rote learning. Studying here, I started taking on projects by Semester 4, even working with a company from Hong Kong. Earning over RM3,000 from a single project is already a lot for a student! Marq Academy has also given me the chance to work on major programs with 8TV, which has really helped me grow both my skills and confidence.
